MINI CAMP

Due West Ranch Mini Camps

These are 3 hour long camps and include horse care, stable management, riding and horsemanship skills. Each camp is different so kids can attend as many as they want and get a different experience and skill each time!

This is horse skills ONLY! We will not be doing crafts or watching videos - this is very concentrated horse knowledge and riding experience. Campers will be learning several different styles of riding, different events, horse management and barn care, horse health and feeding, and care and fitting of equipment.

• Campers should bring a water bottle.
• Campers should wear long pants and closed-toed shoes.
• A minimum of 5 campers must be signed up to host camp—a maximum of 10 campers dependent on staffing.
• A signed release form is required and fees must be paid before your camper can participate. 
• All campers must be picked up by the conclusion of camp.
• Additional dates may be added, depending upon demand. 
• No prior horse experience is necessary! Beginner to advanced riders are welcome!
• Ages 5 years old and up.
• Maximum rider weight limit of 180 pounds.
